The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Thursday brought down gathering banner on half pole in all workplaces of the gathering to grieve the miserable death of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and gathering’s focal board of trustees part Rabindra Prasad Adhikari and six others in an appalling air crash in Taplejung.
A gathering of the gathering’s focal secretariat held today chose to keep a grieving book in all workplaces of the gathering for three days to pay tribute to Adhikari, Aang Tshiring Sherpa, Birendra Prasad Shrestha, Durba Bhochhibhoya, Yubraj Dahal, Pravakar KC and Arjun Kumar Ghimire, who were killed in the accident.
They were killed in a helicopter crash when they were coming back to Kathmandu from Taplejung on Wednesday evening.
The gathering held at the Prime Minister’s legitimate home in Baluwatar this evening chose to arrange a sympathy meeting in Kathmandu on March 7 to pay tribute to late Adhikari and others.
The gathering likewise chose to encourage the administration to give required help to the groups all things considered.
As indicated by a press proclamation issued by general secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel after the gathering, last rituals recently Adhikari would be held in the place where he grew up Pokhara on Friday.
Before taking to Pokhara, his body would be kept at Tundikhel in Kathmandu from 8 am to 11 am to pay tribute to him.
